I am a former staff reporter at the Birmingham Mail and was a senior journalist and feature writer at The Sentinel newspaper in Stoke-on-Trent. I gained my NCTJ and NCE qualifications while at The Sentinel and was shortlisted for a number of national and regional awards.
I also have eight years’ experience of university PR and communications (including social media, website/CMS, internal communications and media relations) and studied Modern Languages at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University.
I often write about the arts, parenting, books, epilepsy and Staffordshire, but can turn my hand to anything.
My freelance work has been published in Birmingham Mail; Birmingham Post; Daily Mirror; Epilepsy Today; Green Parent; Oxford Today; Soul & Spirit; Staffordshire County Magazine; Staffordshire Newsletter; Sunday Mercury; Woman Alive; Writing Magazine.
You can find some of my cuttings here.
I am also available for a wide range of writing-related projects via agencies or directly with clients.
