If you’re here thanks to Jason Manford’s take on my “Iggle Piggle is a dying sailor” theory, here is the post you’re looking for – The Secret Meaning Behind In The Night Garden‘s Opening Words.
When I’m not ruining popular children’s programmes for everyone, I am a freelance writer and proofreader based in Staffordshire. Here I am on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
I am a former staff reporter at the Birmingham Mail and was a senior journalist and feature writer at The Sentinel newspaper in Stoke-on-Trent. I gained my NCTJ and NCE qualifications while at The Sentinel and was shortlisted for a number of national and regional awards.
I also have eight years’ experience of university PR and communications (including social media, website/CMS, internal communications and media relations) and studied Modern Languages at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University.
It was a great honour to work with the National Memorial Arboretum on a project to tell the Life Stories of people connected with that wonderful place.
I love my home county of Staffordshire and I’ve written the Welcome to Staffordshire guidebook for Kingfisher Visitor Guides since 2017.
I work with a wide range of charities, businesses and organisations on projects including copywriting, editing, PR, social media and web content. Have a look at my Writing page to see who I’ve worked with.
I’m also a proofreader and can give anything from policy documents to books a polish.
Get in touch for a no obligation chat about your needs – I would love to find out more.
