Film lovers will enjoy family favourite Brave at the next meeting of Cannock’s children’s cinema club.

The animated fantasy adventure follows young princess Merida who must use her courage and wits to reverse a spell with unforeseen consequences.

Organised by CreateChurch:Cannock, the CreateCinema:Club takes place on the last Saturday of the month from 10am to 12pm at the Electric Palace Picture House in Walsall Road.

Youngsters from birth to 11-years-old can watch classic children’s films on the big screen with their parents and carers, at a cost of just 50p each to cover refreshments.

Doors open at 10am when tea, coffee and squash will be available at no extra cost. Filmgoers can also buy pop­corn and other snacks.

Tickets for Brave will be available on the door on Saturday, November 30.

The family-friendly CreateChurch:Cannock meets every Sunday from 10am at the Electric Palace Picture House.

The church is also organising an open mic night at Caffe del Nino in High Green Court on Wednesday, December 11, at 7:30pm.

A children’s cinema club is set to launch in Cannock this month with a screening of Disney’s Tangled.

The new CreateCinema:Club will take place on the last Saturday of each month from 10am to 12pm at the Electric Palace Picture House, in partnership with CreateChurch:Cannock.

Youngsters from birth to 11-years-old will be able to enjoy classic children’s films on the big screen with their parents and carers, at a cost of just 50p to cover refreshments.

Doors open at10am when tea, cof­fee and squash will be avail­able at no extra cost. It will also be pos­si­ble to buy pop­corn and other snacks.

Tickets for Tangled will be available on the door on Saturday, June 29.
